Stainless steel:
high strength, corrosion resistance, can withstand certain external forces, not easy to rust, and has a long service life. It can produce relatively strong ribs, suitable for use in various environments, including maintaining good performance in humid environments.
Aluminum alloy:
light weight, good strength, easy to carry, and good processing performance of aluminum alloy, can produce various complex rib structures, widely used in folding umbrellas.
Iron:
low cost and certain strength. However, iron is easy to rust, so some anti-rust treatments, such as electroplating, are usually performed to improve its corrosion resistance.
Glass fiber:
has the advantages of high strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance. It has good elasticity. When encountering external forces such as strong winds, it can have a certain elastic deformation and is not easy to break. It can effectively improve the wind resistance of the umbrella and is suitable for making the ribs of high-end umbrellas
Carbon fiber:
It is a high-performance fiber material with higher strength and lighter weight than glass fiber, and has excellent fatigue resistance and chemical stability. However, the cost of carbon fiber is relatively high and is often used in some high-end, professional umbrellas or umbrella products with higher quality requirements.
